Dharma: Valenzetti's equation

[Spanish] I can’t explain this too much. I found this two books in a secret place (can’t be revealed). But the point is what can be found on both of them: the Dharma secret Valenzetti’s equation. I’ll talk about it while I could.


I can not say more for now. The origin of these books has to remain secret. The point is that down on it appear the secret of the DHARMA's initiative. I will reveal his mysteries meanwhile the data arrives to me.
Of all the material contained in these manuals, the following one called my attention in his index (that obviously do not correspond with the title of his covers):

Heurístic: Technic on investigation and finding. Search or investigation of documents or historical sources. In some sciences, way to look for the solution of a problem by means of methods no rigorous, as by estimation, empirical rules, etc.

In the video of 1975 of the Dharma's initiative, the Dr Enzo Valenzetti elaborated the following equation whose purpose was to target the final date of the human civilization.

Av = 100 ∑n=1>6 [Dn (1 – Wn)] ∏ n=1>6 [(1 – Wn)Dn]

Where Dn are the Lost numbers taken out to the lamp by the intruders in the island and Wn are the distinct forms of mankind extintion:
Av = Years of survival of the mankind (Years of Valenzetti).

D1 = 4; W1 = nuclear war

D2 = 8; W2 = chemical war

D3 = 15; W3 = biological war

D4 = 16; W4 = conventional war

D5 = 23; W5 = pandemia

D6 = 42 W6 = over population

The W measure in percentages of 0 to 1. This is, ‘0’ or any danger, and ‘1’ or total danger (100%).

To be more exhaustive, I analyse thoroughly the equation:

Av = 100 [4 (1 - W1) + 8 (1 – W2) + … + 42 (1 – W6)]
{(1 - W1)4 (1 – W2)8 … (1 – W6)42}

Checked that any Wn = 1 (total war) will do that the multiplyer will be ‘0’ (1 – 1) Dn by what Av also will be 0.


Wn = 1 => Av = 0 years

That means that if any type of the six plagues W is sure 100% (Wn = 1) then the years of life will be invalid (Av = 0), is to say that it will have arrived the end of the mankind.
Given the 'fucking numbers' and exponents of the pitatory, will converge with elder dominance the factors of 'main fucking number' that the minor.
Like this, the over-population (factor 42) will influence more acutely that the nuclear war (factor 4) in the vital time reduction of the mankind.

Also interests the ideal case in which the mankind is far from any type of plague (Wn).
Wn = 0 => Av = 10.800 years = 108 centuries

These are the years of "natural life" of the mankind. It is the date that would be the last if any plague exists. Whatever, the man lives some 80 years if it does not suffer any illness or accident. This average life is not an absolute value but depend of as we administer it.

All of you repaired in this ideal case without plagues (Wn = 0) whose result is (Av) 108 centuries. ¿You remember the 108 minutes? That is it: the lapse of time for type the famous Lost numbers in the DHARMA’s computer. Yes. The sum of the Lost numbers. You take it?
The formula of Valenzetti in the particular case without plagues (Wn = 0) convert the sumatoriy of the Lost numbers (Dn) in centuries (x 100):

[En Inglés] He improvisado este programilla sobre la marcha. Lo podéis bajar e introducir las 'variables malditas' (Wn) en sus casillas correspondientes.

Luego le dais a la tecla '=' y veréis los años que le quedan de vida a la humanidad.

Lo mejor es que empecéis dándole al "reset" para que todos los Wn esten a '0'. Le dais al "=" y comprobais que la vida prevista en ausencia de peligros para la humanidad da 108 siglos. Si. Otra vez la suma de los famosos números. Los valores (Wn) deben estar entre 0 y 100. Recordad que 0 es que no hay ningún peligro de guerra o plaga y 100 quiere decir que es seguro que las haya. Luego, si ponéis cualquiera de los Wn = 100%, comprobaréis que Av = 0. Es decir que si el riesgo de guerra o plaga es absoluto (100%) entonces la esperanza de vida de la humanidad (Av) será nula (0).

A partir de ahí podéis seguir jugando con estas variables. Si el programa bajado se cuelga, salid de él y volved (a eso le llamo yo resetear). Si estáis en este blog le podéis dar a la tecla F5.

No puedo decir más por ahora. La procedencia de estos libros debe permanecer secreta. Lo importante es que su interior revelaba el secreto de la iniciativa DHARMA. Iré desvelando sus misterios conforme me vaya enterando yo mismo.

Heurístico: (Del gr. εὑρίσκειν, hallar, inventar, y ‒́tico).Técnica de la indagación y del descubrimiento. Busca o investigación de documentos o fuentes históricas. En algunas ciencias, manera de buscar la solución de un problema mediante métodos no rigurosos, como por tanteo, reglas empíricas, etc.

Tal y como se señala en el vídeo de 1975 de la iniciativa Dharma, el Dr. Enzo Valenzetti elaboró la siguiente ecuación cuya finalidad era evaluar la fecha final de la civilización humana.

Donde Dn son los números “malditos” sacados a la luz por los intrusos en la isla y Wn son las distintas formas de extinción diseñadas por la humanidad:

Av = Años de supervivencia de la humanidad (Años de Valenzetti).

Las W se miden en porcentajes de 0 a 1. Esto es, ‘0’ o ningún peligro, y ‘1’ o peligro total (100%).

∑ es el sumatorio (o la sumatoria)

∏ es la multiplicatoria (también llamada productoria o pitatoria)

Para que se entienda bien, desmenuzamos la ecuación:

A_v = 100 [4 (1 - W₁) + 8 (1 – W₂) + … + 42 (1 – W₆)]

{(1 - W₁)⁴ (1 – W₂)⁸ … (1 – W₆)⁴²}

Comprobamos que cualquier Wn = 1 (guerra total) hará que la multiplicatoria será ‘0’ (1 – 1) ^Dn por lo que A_v también será 0.

Wn = 1 => A_v = 0 años

Esto quiere decir que si cualquier tipo de las seis plagas W es segura (Wn = 1) entonces los años de vida serán nulos (Av = 0), es decir que habrá llegado el fin de la humanidad.

Dados los 'números malditos' como exponentes del pitatorio, convergerán con mayor preponderancia los factores de 'mayor número maldito' que los menores.

Así, la sobre-población (factor 42) influirá más intensamente que la guerra nuclear (factor 4) en la merma del tiempo vital de la humanidad.

También interesa el caso ideal en el que la humanidad está alejada de cualquier tipo de plaga (Wn).

Wn = 0 => Av = 10.800 años = 108 siglos

Estos son los años de "vida natural" de la humanidad. Es el tiempo que duraría si ninguna plaga la aquejara. Como símil, el hombre vive unos 80 años si no padece ninguna enfermedad o accidente. Esta vida media no es un valor absoluto y todo depende de como la administremos.

Y si. Todos habréis reparado en que este caso ideal sin plagas (Wn = 0) da como tiempo de vida (Av) 108 siglos. ¿Recordáis los 108 minutos? En efecto: el lapso de tiempo para teclear los famosos números malditos en el ordenador DHARMA. Si. La suma de los números malditos. ¿Tiene sentido no?.

Si os fijais, la fórmula de Valenzetti en el caso particular sin plagas (Wn = 0) se convierte en el sumatorio de los números malditos (Dn) en siglos (x 100):
